A49 Arcam

How does A 49 Integrated compare with Accuphase E460 to drive 803D? Brother has gifted me 803D.

I'm interested not only in the A49, but Arcam is also releasing the C49 preamp and the P49 power amp; will be interesting to see how it is received. Jeff

I've had the A19 for the past couple of months and absolutely love it. Not only for how great it sounds but also its build quality and functionality (the volume control is one of the best I have ever used). I can't wait to hear the A49. Although, even if I love it I can in no way afford it. Do you have any info if Arcam is going to fill the void between the A19 and the A49 with something more affordable? I haven't been able to find anything on the web myself.

The A49 will list for around $5,000; it's designed in the UK, and built in the US, in Rochester, NY. I would expect to see an A29 and A39 eventually...just guessing. Jeff
