Anyone hear the Von Schweikert DB-99?

Does anyone own or heard this speaker? If so, please give me your impressions.

Also, what are the sonic benefits (if any) in a high efficency speaker over regular efficency?

To me, at least, they sounded very similar to the VR4sr out of the box. I think the DB99s are back-logged. I had to wait closer to 8 weeks before i got my pair.

The two speakers are not even close. IMO, the DB99s are one the best in their price class (I wish I could say the same about the 4 SRs). Once they have broken in, I think you will be quite happy. ---Dave
