AQ Diamond USB Cable with Ayre QB-9 DSD?

Would a 2.5' AudioQuest Diamond USB cable add any sonic value connecting a Senore ultraRendu roon endpoint to an Ayre QB-9 DSD DAC, or does the optical coupling of the DAC obviate that value?  I'm using an 18" Cardas USB cable now.

There is only one way to find out.  Music Direct has a 30 day return policy so you can try it out without risk.

I recently added this cable between my Mac Mini and my QB-9 DSD and the improvements were incredible in my opinion.
