I have owned the Prestige for over a year and just figured out it reads HD recordings.I have a quite a few of the Minn orchestra. Nice surprise. I spoke with Jodi and he confirmed that it does have the chip HDCD.
Also, if cd is your only source, try unhooking the analog inputs. In my system it has a lower noise floor and much better bass. The results may vary between systems. I am using the AA into the Dartzeel pre amp with a stealth indra interconnect. PS; the HD probably has to do with licensing????
