But the Pre G2 with separate Tambaui DAC is slightly better. I now have the Stern and Heisenbergs with the Tambaqui :) There is great synergy between Audionet Amps and preamps. The Makua is in our family room, so it gets the edge with compactness and appearance. I had the MM Kaluga amps but once I swapped in the Audionet Max's they never left that system. I have great experience with GTT Audio.
