Dayton wireless subwoofer kit vs. cable
Hello,
I am new with quality audio and am interested in getting your educated opinions that can help me with a decision. My question is should I ditch the wifi and get some good subwoofer call?. Am I going to give up quality by keeping the Wi-Fi when I can get Cable? I can get the distance between the set up then sub down to 12 feet at the max.
I'm putting together a complete upgrade. Here's the setup:
Bluesound Node
Mod Squad Line Drive passive preamp
Bryston 4B-St power amp
Magnepan .7 speakers
SVS 2000 subwoofer
The subwoofer is the only piece of equipment that I had owned previously. I am currently using the Dayton wi-Fi kit. I opted not to use cable because the distance between the receiver and the sub is about 25 feet. I use the same distance to the speakers with quality wire and only decided upon using the Wi-Fi to the sub to save some money.
But now I understand the connections are indeed important. I appreciate your opinions
Thanks,
Adam
