A friend has a D200 and we have compared it to my Herron setup and an older Roland amp. It has a little more bite to it than either of those two amps. I'm not saying it's harsh, just a different tonal taste. I really like the amp and if I was in the market for do it all, one piece setup it would be a top contender.

I deal with both systems and my buyers either prefer Tubes or Solidstate amp. I deal with Ayon and Krell. One thing I can add though, is that Solidstate listeners can switch to Tube amps but not vise versa...
