Free to Good Homes

I have three platforms I would like to give away for FREE. One is a 3 1/2 thick solid Maple platform 18 x 24 big enough for a VPI Prime. It is painted black but needs to be sanded and repainted. Another is a gray and black granite platform 12 x 18 for a small footprint turntable or amp. Lastly is a Mapleshade platform 15 x 18 painted black I used for a VPI Scout.

These are local pickup only in R.I. so please do not ask me to ship because I will ignore your message. Again, these are absolutely free as I no longer need them & local pick up only. If truly interested, send me a PM please.

Very nice gesture. Wish we had more generous and sincere audiophiles rather than those who offer only their 'half-witted' responses that we see so often.

This is what Audiogon should be about.
Reminds me of years ago, drove from Austin to San Antonio to buy a pair of speakers.
The gentleman gave me an entry level Tecnics turntable he was no longer using.
My daughter continues to use & enjoy it today.

A few years ago I sold an audio rack locally to a gentleman from the Boston area.  He came to pick it up and I also gave him a Classe" 15 amp that I bought new back in 1999.  He was so thrilled.  At the time, I could have sold it here for around a grand but the look on his face was priceless.  Best grand I didn't make.

I am surprised I haven't had any takers on the platforms.  If no one tries to claim them, I will repost after the Holidays are over in the Classifieds.  I just  know some one in my area would be delighted with one or all of them.

Someone will relieve you of them for sure but might be a bit close to Christmas to worry about it right now.
