Freya + ( Plus ) Capacity Mods

Hey there folks,

Looks like there could be a cottage industry for Freya + mods. I recently read about some of them and am at least interested in the capacitor upgrade. Here's the article if you want to read about it.

Now comes the question: Who can do these mods safely and if they can be done  safely, can we establish the AMG equivalent of a Freya +?

Honestly if the only mod you do is swap in the Vcap ODAMS, you will have significantly upgraded the unit. They really are outstanding. I have modded them into my preamp and my speaker crossovers... However it sounds like a bit challenging to remove the case...much more than removing a few screws...

I read the same perspective at the link previously provided. I am not qualified to weigh in on the topic. What I'm hoping to learn is if there are qualified folks who would do this work and if so, who are they?

I ordered the caps and had the upgrade done. WOW! What a huge improvement. I highly recommended doing it!!!
