GEORGE HARRISON

My favourite Beatle has died aged 58.
Whilst his overall musical output in terms of quantity pales against his more famous partners, the quality of his best work is on a par with theirs.
He seemed the most mystical of the Beatles, the wisest possibly too and yet the most ordinary and unaffected of them .
No record collection should be without Abbey Road,The White Album and All Things Must Pass.
A brilliant guitarist and songwriter and it would seem a fine human being, his last thoughts where for others,as they often seemed to be.
God bless.

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right it front of me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be

Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be

And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree
There will be an answer
Let it be
For though they may be parted there is
still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer
Let it be

Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
yeah, there will be an answer
Let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be

Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be

And when the night is cloudy
There is still a light that shines on me
Shine until tomorrow
Let it be
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be

Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
There will be an answer
Let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
There will be an answer
Let it be

Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be
He seemed to enjoy the simple things in life - his family, music, flowers, his faith and peace. I enjoyed his presence in the world and will continue to enjoy his music. Thank you, George!
I was born after the break-up of The Beatles but I have been a fan all of my life. I remember sitting at the kitchen table, eating my morning cereal and listening to radio when I heard the sad news about John, I was only 8 at the time. I still remember that day well. Now sadly to say another has passed away. Rest in peace George. :(
I remember the first time I heard "all things must pass" in a record store in Erie Pa, I think I was about 12 or 13 years old at the time, it was 1973, I loved it and have never forgot that music.. also remember seeing Yellow Submarine on TV about the same time and it really blew my mind, for a 13 year old.. "My sweet Lord, krishna, krishna.." My Lord is Jesus, but none the less a great song, a great pop musician, it'll never be the same.. I better buy a copy of ATMP now before they go up..
I own 3 copies of All Things Must Pass, 2 CD compliations and the original Apple release on vinyl. Whenever I hear it, I get a very warm and mystical feeling. I don't think George ever took himself too seriously...go visit the www.allthingsmustpass.com website and you'll see what I mean. He really enjoyed and LIVED life. He was our friend.

Goodbye my friend. God Bless.
