GIK Acoustics can't ship without damage

I have ordered around 10 Impression panels and a couple bass traps.

The Impression panels are the ones with the decorative wood front panels.

EVERY order has been damaged, assembled wrong or the wrong part sent. Even my replacement parts were damaged because they put (2) 1/8 thickness of wood in a 7" thick box, but taped it to the side of the box, so there was only 1 thickness of cardboard protecting it. Duh! Guess they never saw FedEx guys at work.

They work we'll and Mike has been very helpful, but I'll never buy from them again.

I can't be the only one who's has issues with them can I?

I guess they must just hate me then for every single delivery to be broken šŸ¤£

Well, I've ordered at separate times over the past six years and never had an issue with the assembly or the sipping, but in all cases I was on the east coast.

I had the same issues, chipped corners, wrong colors, long wait times. Ā Panels work fine but definite quality issues.Ā

Regrettably Iā€™ve had the same problem. The panelsā€™ finish quality was poor on several occasions. However, GIK was responsive and gracious in providing replacements. My experience is that their challenges arise from inadequate control over manufacturing quality rather than a shipping issue. The former is a GIK controllable issue, since they likely use a 3rd party contract manufacturer. A small business like GIK cannot greatly influence shipping matters, unless the packaging is inadequate. In all my disappointing GIK situations, the packing was appropriate. Auralex has met my expectations. Their panels were of comparable costs and function. They seem less risky than GIK.
