Happy Thanksgiving to All!

Post T-Day. it was a good one, although quite different....spouse had hip surgery on the 25th and had Nurse Jerry to make the invalid as comfy as poss....

We had chicken...and gave thanks she'll feel better soon and we were basically untouched by Helene's wrath,  I get a lot of thanks from spouse, which is a 'feel good' from one in pain that has brightened my days and nights.

....and since it's just the 2 of us, we get to avoid 50K ways to redux turkey,,,, ;) *L*

@secretguy Sorry to hear of your back surgery as it brought back memories of my brother in law's 12 hour surgery (supposed to be 2 -3 hours max). It took him a year to learn to walk again and still has drop-foot in one of his feet.

He had a great doctor (did Casey Kasem's surgery) who couldn't figure out why it turned out the way it did. He can still ride his Harley (which I tell him time and again to sell) and is active as ever but I hope I never have to go through something like that. Hope you have a quick and fruitful recovery.

Happy late Thanksgiving greetings to all.

I had to work. Normally not something to be happy about. But....on Sept 4th I had a MAJOR spine surgery......10+ hours on the table...3 weeks in the hospital....almost unbearable pain in recovery. Although technically still in recovery, I was able to play yesterday. So I'm thankful for that and for the VERY skilled surgeon and team...and my wife, without whom I could never have gotten through it.

So a late Happy Thanksgiving to all. Now on the Christmas!
