help.............


cant get much gain from my pv10 or pv12, what am i doing wrong here. tried tube rolling, direct line but still no better. talk with rhp desizn, said he dont think changing out the caps would help volume problem. any one else having this same problem..........

thanks for the advice, i think the problem is going to be the speakers. but ive tried other speakers and have the same problem. i only use 12au7 tubes, can my unit handle 12ax, i dont know. but will try other things when i get my other amp back.
let me add, i am in a position were there is problems with the electrical grid. they had to replace the transformer just resentley, and it seems the problem with my home is starting up again. i think there is a ground problem that they dont want me to know about. i was getting feedback of current into my house. i notice when they put in a ground the loudness came back. thats why i stated earlier that i might need a conditioner.........
The original PV10 used 12ax7, 12at7 and 5751, tubes with much higher gain than the 12au7.

You may want to cal CJ with the serial number and ask about the correct tubes for your unit.
