Looks like there are 4 screws holding the top plate on.

Unplug the power cord, unscrew the 4 screw on top to open the top plate and you can clearly see the fuse on PCB, be caution the capacitors may still charged! http://img.ukaudiomart.com/uploads/large/1858817-emerald-physics-1002se-amplifier.jpg |
Thank you. I turned the power off for a couple of days, I appreciate the heads up. I found the screw (openings), but there is no pattern: hex, star,etc. Just “smooth” openings as I thought they were just rivets...I will try to loosen them with a screwdriver. It worked! Thank you! I found another issue though. The bottom front foot had come loose (the single front one), and has separated from the case, I have retrieved the screw but don’t see how I will ever access it as the screw enters through the inside (under the pcb board). Wow.... The top is off, thanks to you guys and I do appreciate your help with that. Bless you two ! Cheers! |
