Hybrid SACD the new standard?

According to Stereophile news it seems that a big push for changing to this new option is going to happen.
Worth checking....

What about cost of the new discs? I have no crystal ball but I worry SACD may already be dead in the water...............

I don't care for the potential $23 a disk that's for sure!! ~Tim
