Issues with Tube Rolling an Odyssey Candela

Question for you tube guys. I recently went from a Primaluna integrated amp to Odyssey separates. The Candela preamp comes with JJ Audio tubes and they are dead quiet. However, when I try to roll in my NOS Cifte or the Primaluna brand 12au7's, they are super noisy (static/electrical noise). Any idea why? All my pre tubes were quiet in my Primaluna.

I've had zero problems rolling many different nos tubes in my Candela.
Perhaps a call to Klaus at Odyssey will shed some light as to why yours is noisy...

I know this post is old, but I have tube noise in my stock tubes with my Candela. Not bad, just barely audible from the listening position (my speakers are 95 db efficient). 

I have (had) come to the conclusion all tube preamps have noise, after auditioning about 6, including BAT and Quicksilver, they all do. 

Are you saying your guys Candelas were dead quiet with stock tubes?
