Jolida 1501RC standby mode

I recently purchased a Jolida 1501RC from a member on here. The unit did not come with a manual (anybody know where I can get one? download one?).
I leave the amp turned on (via the switch on the back panel) and in standby mode. However, when I power up, I notice that I have to press the "standby" button on the remote twice. Is that the standard behavior for this amp? Thanks in advance.
