LaScala dac with telefunken tubes

 I'd acquired a pair of premium Mullard 12AT7, he replied that "I like Mullard. And it is interesting to try a different set on the La Scala MkII if that is your intention. But, to speak frankly, I am not fanatic about tubes nor about solid state.

In fact, they do show up used, occasionally. You just have to watch the hifi shark listings.

Some who’ve upgraded from the much lower priced La Voce have said the sonic difference was not dramatic, despite the hefty difference in price but the La Voce has no tubes and as always, the "YMMV" caveat applies.
