LYRA DELOS IS AMAZING!!!!

After nearly throwing the LYRA DELOS in the garbage, a swap out of phono preamps have vindicated this fine cartridge.  The BAT VK P12 phono preamp has transformed the LYRA into a game changer. I retract all previous statements about this Cartridge other than it I do believe it sounds best with tubes or EXTREMELY high end solid state with FET's. Music now floats effortlessly without grain, without harshness and full of detail.  The Lyra tracks beautifully and is nearly as quiet as digital( no clicks and pops).

Ha! Love when that happens. Came here from your other thread. You have to be careful before going public with a denigrating statement about a product but kudos for admitting it. I’ve done it. One time I forgot to bias my amps after a tube change which led to a product having a "serious flaw", which wasn’t actually there.
You came to your other thread requesting assistance and advice, it was given to you by several well intentioned folk and even the designer of your Delos! Yet you stated that one of the members was essentially ignorant, all MC’s were broken and that the Delos was basically trash! Here you have the temerity to start this thread, and apparently apologize for thinking your Delos was not as you purported it to be...!
I think you owe Mr Carr an apology, if no one else. IMHO.
If you cant take the heat, get out of the kitchen!! Its a tough gig being a designer in high end audio. I'm sure Mr Carr has heard worse. The good news is he has a huge fan club. One of those fans came over to my place and dialed the Delos in. Don't know If it was setup or a different phono preamp was needed. No matter, I'm on my 7th hour of a music listening marathon.
Well expectation are high, and your money's spent, BUT it sounds BAD..
I hate when that happens. Then I remember to turn something on, plug in a connection a little better or tighten a ground connection.

Magic.. mean time, you cussed out the mailperson for the mail being delivered to the wrong address and tried to bite them. Of course the pepper spray brought you right to your senses though..

Heel boy, Heel!! :-)
