Main Stream, from Vera-fi Audio

I’ve got a Snubway with another on order. It seems that the Snubway and Main Stream address two different areas of the audio spectrum. The Main Stream appears to deal with line noise from household components as opposed to switch mode noise from audio system components, like the Snubway.

Does this item require a burn in period?

Is that burn in time for the Mainstream unit to develop, or is it the time to work conditioning through the system AC.

 I have had the Mainstreams for a while now. Prior to the Mainstreams arrival I put the two Puron filters in the first position on my Audience Adept Response r12 conditioner.

   One Mainstream went into the wall receptacle that the Audience conditioner is plugged into and the other mainstream went into the receptacle my amp is plugged into. Prior to getting the Mainstreams I thought my noise floor was as good as it gets , I was wrong on that. 

  The Mainstreams have added resolution and clarity better than before. I was very surprised.  You can Cleary hear more detail in notes fading out , etc as well as everywhere else. I always use Mobile Fidelity - Beck Sea Change for critical evaluation.  There's so much going on in the soundstage. Notes within the soundstage clearly stand out within their own space more. 

  I would totally agree with Ozzy's comment in his review of a more defined center image and real. I must say it was a pleasure talking to Mark again. I like your enthusiasm. 

  There is a 30 trial period , if you are not satisfied simply return them. Mine are staying put. For the increased resolution,  clarity, soundstaging etc, the Mainstream is a bargain for what attributes it will bring to your system.
