MIT Z Center vs PS Audio Ultimate Outlet?

I currently have an MIT Z Center which I have my preamp and DAC, and plugged into. Would like to know if anyone has done a comparison of performance with the PS Audio Ultimate outlet and the MIT. The MIT takes a component shelf and it would be nice to improve sound and eliminate a shelf on the component rack. Would there be problems using a digital component and preamp using the same PS audio outlet? I currently have an isolated outlet on the MIT for digital components. Comments would be appreciated.

I have a Z-center and like it a lot. However after adding six dedicated circuits to my gear, I can no longer here the sonic benefits when A/B comparing. It is currently being offered at auction.
I have 2 dedicated sets of outlets of which the z center and transport are plugged into one of them and my monoblocks are plugged directly into the other set. I have felt that the sound may be better going directly into the outlet because of now power limitation but am concerned about not having protection from power surges. The z center seems to do quite well but I do not have enough dedicated outlets to do the AB comparisons. Sounds like there may be no sonic benefit of conditioning when you have a dedicated cicuit but you do take the risk of no surge protection.
FORGET THEM BOTH AND GET A HYDRA...MORE MONEY,BUT MAN WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT! plus you can plug EVERYTHING into it.
