Pearl Acoustics Sibelius Speakers

Hi, Anyone have any experience with the Pearl Acoustics Sibelius Speakers? I just recently came across these speakers and I have been watching many of their YT Videos. Looks really interesting to me but not many independent video's on them from what I can find. Thanks Jay

Willsenton R8 is available immediately...Decware amps are on a 1 year waiting list. I know it’s off topic but I just wanted to make zoso69 aware of the Decware situation.

An impressive small single driver transmission line speakers. It seems to go low but, when listening to Birds by Dominique Fils-Aimé, the bottom bass notes are not that weighty compared to my little bookshelf NHT Sb3, honestly, which costs sub $250 used. So, at the asking price of $6,600, I am not sure its value relative to the peers. Plus, it is a bit plain looking like a DIY product.  Sorry if I offend the owners or the manufacture in any way but ...

I noticed that a US dealer had a small clip on YT playing the Sibelius speakers.  I emailed them and they said they have a pair in their store that you can demo. The person that emailed me back said they are not a distributor but have some sort of referral arrangement with Pearl Acoustics.  The store is J&J Solutions (https://www.jjaudiosolutions.com/) and is located in Bay Area, CA.  So, if anyone is in that general area and can get there for a demo, let us know what you think.

@dodgealum I have not experienced the Cube Audio Nenuphar or the Sibelius speaker. But I experienced a similar speaker design from France based on the Audax AM21LB driver. You can demo the Audax speakers in Paris and the retail for approx. 2000€/pair (depending on the finish). You can save more by purchasing the DIY kit. This is the speaker I would get if I had a larger room. They sound a bit better when you're standing 3m+ away.  Comparitively speaking, most other speakers in the shop sounded more veiled. I tried a few other models from Supravox and Davis Acoustics. I'm not the most experienced listener. And I'm struggling to describe a very transparent and cohesive sound.

I'm guessing that the Cube Audio speaker is very close in design and should sound similar to the Audax AM21. But I'm guessing.

In conclusion, I'm a fullrange driver believer. I get it.
