Quality of the LM 845 Premium pre-amp

Hi I am thinking about getting a pre amp for my LM845. I really like this amp but just how good is the pre amp?
Would love to hear from someone that have tried different pre amps with the lm845

I like noise and distortion 😊
it has a dedicated pre amp in a and a switch on the front for external or internal pre amp.
