SYLVANIA 6SN7 GTB tall bottle tubes and short bottle

What is the difference between SYLVANIA 6SN7 GTB tall bottle and short bottle tubes.
Using in a Rogue Metis preamp. Also what tubes do you recommend for the Metis?
System: Rega RP 6 w/ Exact cartridge and Fono Phono Preamp MM, Raga Apollo R CD,
Rouge Metis and Carver M-1.0t mk II opt 002 amp and Source Loudspeaker Technologies
7211 Reed Tower and Kimber cables.

An excellent tube without a huge price is the GE 6SN7GTB short bottle side getter or the GTA version for a few more dollars.

The tall bottle Sylvania 6Sn7GTB is a better sounding tube than the short (standard) bottle version. Not quite as good as the more expensive "bad boy" Sylvanias, but very close.
