Ultra high bandwidth amps like Norma Revo IPA 140 with horns?
Hello to all, recently I discovered a very interesting amp from Italy, that have a circuit design focus on ultra high bandwidth, same as a Solution amp I think...
My question is: what will be the interaction of this type of design with horn speakers?
Especially with the ones that I'm planning to build, that have this high frequencies compression horn drivers and super horn tweeters.

Lot's of people tells me that the best amps for this drivers would be tubes, and class d for the woofers, but I'm wondering how would be the Norma powering everything, the woofer, mids and highs... the ultra high bandwidth of Norma it will be good for this drivers?
Many thanks, best regards to all.

Hello roberjerman, can I ask your thoughts about the amp’s choice for the 12" woofer driver of my loudspeaker plan, when considering the active way? Do you think a high damping factor is a vital spec to look at when choosing the amp for this application? Many thanks, regards. |
