Upgrade Clock in Jolida JD100

I promise this is the last thread about this player. I am very happy with the Level One Upgrade from hotrodaudiomod.com. It is just enough without taking away from the original. But I am thinking about upgrading the clock. I feel (and I could be wrong) that it will only improve the picture without disturbing the paint (sorry about the analogy). Any thoughts on this?
