Upgraded cords for linear power supplies?

I can hear a difference between different PC's into a Swagman LPS. Not as significant as aftermarket cables into an audio component.

Very simple. If it is specified to have an AC output it is by definition, not a linear power supply (which would imply a DC output).Second, in the description Swagman says it is a toroidal transformer with some EMI filtering. Unfortunately they put in the same box they use for other LPS.

A linear power supply typically uses a large transformer to drop voltage from an AC line to a much lower AC voltage, and then uses a series of rectifier circuitry and filtering process to produce a very clean DC voltage. 

The Rega TT is powered by AC, so this Swagman unit is simply an external power supply. It would be superior to an onboard PS due to the toroidal transformer, better caps, plus isolation.

Not exactly. The definition of an LPS is correct.  A higher current capacity transformer has a chance to provide better speed stability to a TT. I'm not sure why you think it has any caps at all, or what purpose they would have in an AC supply, and I personally think it a bit of a stretch to call a transformer in a box a power supply.For some enlightenment on transformers you might want to watch "pints with Ayre" on utube.

Ad3cent aftermarket power cord is a easy recommendation myself and many in our audio club have compared, stock power cords the $10 special are horrible .

jys5 but a $100 - 3 ft Pangea much better detail and depth of image ,also replacing 

the Dc cable on most another easy call.
