I assume you meant Ethernet switch and not USB switch.
I wouldn’t bother. Just use good Ethernet cable.
USB Switch Upgrade or Not
I think I want to add a usb switch to my Innuos Zenith / PhoenixUBB but, not ready to spend another 4400 for a PhoenixNet’☹️. Has anyone tried other less pricey switches with good results? Someone suggested the LHY SW10. I’m not sure why all the outlets when I would be most likely use only one so, was considering their SW 6. Has anyone tried the SW 6 with Innuos gear or compared the SW 6 to the PhoenixNet?

Hi @hysteve, in my experience a good switch has greatly improved my digital front end. Standard Netgear = meh EtherRegen = good Bonn 8 = good
Network Acoustics Tempus = great JCAT M12 = great GTT / DeJitterit = great
Also a good Ethernet cable as last cable into Streamer or DAC Additionally, the Network Acoustics Muon Pro filter is very nice. This is all tried in my system and my findings! Ken

Ansuz make a great switch even better then innuos my brother sold his innuos for the D2 I think or newer model there is a great company in the U.K I will share if you want a truly analog sounding streaming systems you need the 2 high quality Ethernet cables the Ethernet hub and maybe filter they make a very good filter $900 Thst plugs into each AC,Ethernet ,or rca ,it all adds up and $6k lighter in the pocket ,but that’s the price of removing all this noise ,especially sinc3 digital from house to house streaming is not grounded. One thing to mention never have a separate modem, router. I bought a much better Motorola 8702 it has faster bigger buffer processor wifi Thst your tv will love and get rid of the 💩 wall wart that comes with router ,pure noise .on Audiogon Linear Tube Audio LPS power supply for $700 a steal better then Anythjng ever at $1200 and comes with a great DC cable to router. On wall wart tell how many volt ,normally 12 volts and this LPS build great.I know parts quality very well . router is around 4 amps ,this LPS good to 8 amps ,and can configure up to 19-20 volts. |
