What can beat Wilson XVX for less money?

If you have heard xvx what speakers have you heard that are better for less money? Seems Jay just got XVX and can't help but wonder if there are speakers that perform better for example for $100k or less. Including used.

@skinzy I am with you sir. I do not care at all if my system conveys ’what the musician intended’. Instead my only concern is maximizing my own enjoyment of the music.

Did the all new Kroma Atelier Mercedes Loudspeakers with all Purifi Drivers just made the World's Best Speakers ? 🤔 😈

@smodtactical Purifi told Kroma Atelier at one of the Shows that they never heard their Purifi Drivers sound this good before at 7:18 in this video below ! 😈

What can beat Wilson XVX for less money?

- seems like a leading question that “assumes” we all generally agree on the sonic quality of the Wilson XVX while ignoring the more important fact that speaker preferences are usually “subjective”.

While searching for my first high-end audio speakers, I auditioned the best speakers I could find, then tried to recreate that sound at the lowest cost while minimizing performance loss.  I recognize Wilson speakers as being the cutting edge in design especially in timing, but the house sound never “resonated” (get emotionally connected and lost in the music) unlike Magico and YG.  It’s simply personal preferences.

So at or below the Wilson’s XVX price point, whether one can find a more “subjectively” satisfying sonic transducer that can yield higher “subjective” sonic satisfaction I’d say yes - the only exception seems to be those who deem the XVX as their end game choice.
