What + experience have you had with an indoor FM antenna?
Right now, I cannot do an outdoor antenna, so thinking of adding an indoor one. I had the Magnum Dynalab indoor antenna and would say it was O.K. ....I have not been very interested in amplified antennas. I am not in a good FM area and find online FM to be limited in sound quality, frequency response...and way too much talk...even some esoteric online seem to have hosts/D.J.s that cannot shut up and play music.

generally a poor one. I've had both, and the outdoor antenna is so far superior. A compromise is an attic antenna. Overall, nothing beats elevation, followed by having good directional antenna. Indoor antennas with FM amplifiers for the most part really suck. If you have the option to stream a station you may find you are better off. E |
If you're not in a good area, an indoor antenna isn't going to help much. As others have said, the roof is best. Here's another site with information on signal strength. http://www.fmfool.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=80 This is a good place for all things having to do with FM Tuners. There is also a related groups.io page called FMTuners. https://www.fmtunerinfo.com/ |
