Ok, spelling is a problem fer me. On BIS I think #275 Drottningholm Baroque's 4 Seasons. A tiny tad faster than most but true Hi Def recording and performance.
My personal favorite for recording quality is "Vivaldi for Diverse Instruments" by Nicholas McGegan and the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra. It was put out by Reference Recordings, RR-77CD, and can be played back in HDCD, which is how I listen to it. It has a selection of Vivaldi concertos, but no Four Seasons. Worth a listen.
My favorite rendition of The Four Seasons is the 1969 Legends Perfomances on Decca, perfomed by the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Neville Marriner conducting. Also Vivaldi: L'estro Armonicothe Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Neville Marriner conducting. Another favorite is Vivaldi Concert for the Prince of Poland, The Academy of Ancient Music, Andrew Manze director.
