Foster_9, I like your description of what "this" is and your use of hobby. Why is it difficult to assemble a high quality system?

I'm with Foster_9.

My hobby is listening to good music, not dabbling with toys.

Also agree that it can be time consuming to get right so I suppose the time and dedication spent dabbling to get it right qualifies as a hobby, though it is a means to another end.

Onywy61, it's not difficult to assemble a high quality system, especially if you have a little money. What I've learned is you can assemble a system of quality pieces that produces average sound. Matching the right gear is the challenge, but that's how you get great sound; and having a complimentary room. Matching the gear well to get great sound is what can be difficult.

Wonderful music in home almost as good as live.
