Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Tonight I listened to a classical masterpiece, "Edmond de Luca’s Conquerors of the ages" London Philharmonic; Linz Reinhard, conductor; Circa 1959. My favorite go to listening Lp. not only in terms of listening enjoyment but when it comes too high and low end sound tracks, some of the highest...and lowest sound passages I have ever heard on a recording. Since 20-20K Hz is for all terms considered to be the audible end posts for us humans, there are on particular tracks that I estimate come in at 30-18K Hz. The original album comes with a playbill that explains the composers intention tor each recording. A truly brilliant piece of work.

Had friends over last night for pizza and our monthly music club meeting.  Spun some vinyl and also streamed a few tunes.  Fun times!  This morning listening to Bob Dylan/The Band - Before the Flood.

Sounds fun Greg. My streaming experiment has gotten bigger than I envisioned. Really enjoyable though.

Sparklehorse "Dark Night of the Soul"

currently streaming but own the vinyl...........

Just arrived today. Looking forward to this box set. After my recent Maazel Sibelius symphony box set, this should make a nice addition.
