Whole Lotta Led

My Zeppelin stampers dont  get played much these days.

In fact, the entire genre is collecting dust.

I am however, looking forward to seeing this

IMAX- should be a fun watch

My little Honolulu blues band opened for them in 1969 (second half of their first tour). Talked to Page about his Les Paul just before they went on (he showed me a recent fingerboard ding) they had so much amazing energy then, somewhat less later likely due to Page's chemical issues. Fun after party (!).

I first saw them headline the first night of the Laurel Pop Festival in Laurel, MD in the summer of '69; to say that blew me away would be an understatement. Saw them in Syracuse in the early 70's and Oakland in '77, but I also went to a couple of Page/Plant tour shows, and I liked those better than LZ; much tighter playing...

wolf_garcia- your past music moments are always a fun read.

larsman- witnessing 69 Zep had to be an attention grabbing moment. Maybe close/equal to a Jimi experience a couple years earlier.

Should be great. Caught them at the Boston Garden 69 with the MC5 and Johnny Winter what a show.

@tablejockey - interesting you say that, because I did go see Jimi at Baltimore Civic Center on Mother's Day of 1969.....
