We can vote - whose approach to this particular issue is more effective and practical for an audiophile (most likely a beginner - since the veterans themselves know everything) ... my modest 35 years of trial-and-error experience of findings of observations in audio and momentary prejudices regarding Chinese products (including by indirect signs not related to electronics ... well, I don’t like these pagan guys as High-end sculptors) ... Or your approach (but for the sake of purity of experiment, voters MUST read all 7 volumes of Needham's works and extrapolate the knowledge gained to the situation).
