As far as I can gather the LS2a/2 used the white translucent (plastic?) woofer - not the B110. If the woofers produce sound then perhaps have them repaired (as suggested above). A few "sales listing pics" that I ran across showed distorted rubber like surrounds which could be replaced if the coils are still good. Never heard of this model before.

yogiboy: He states that it is "based" upon the 110 and he is discussing the LS2 (not the LS2A/2). I have not been able to verify that the LS2 and the LS2A/2 use the same woofer. Rogers used different versions of the white translucent woofers that looked alike (to me) but which had different specs. I'm interested enough @ this point to see if I can nail down more info on the OP's speakers (get's confusing with the LS2, LS2A and the LS2A/2 all ending up in searches). Wonder if Madisound (sp?) would have the info?

A quick dive came up with the LS2A/2's woofer being 160mm (still needs to be confirmed with a 2nd source). B110 was smaller in my Ls3/5a's (maybe 130-135mm depending on how it's measured). Found pics of the LS2A/2 woofer backs, but the hand written model # (7-M-3) returned Zippo on Google. I need to man up to move a couple of mattresses, so that's it for today.
