Class D amps seem poised to take over. Then what?

I am certainly biased by my lifetime final amp being a Class D. But I know that after 30+ years of development, Class D seems to be on a high plain. I know there are now many, many companies focusing on Class D and, maybe, a good handful already as good as it gets. My Class D amp is as smooth and beautifully musical as a great tube amp and as punchy and detailed as a great SS amp. I am satisfied and done with my search. A class D amp has effectively taken me off the amp merry-go-round. It’s about time after 50 years. And, for me, this Class D is a milestone. Will all other classes of amps fade away?

Everybody's talkin' at D
I don't hear a word they're saying
Only the echoes of my eyes

Posters stopping, staring
I can't see their faces
Only the shadows of their I'ds....

(And apologies to Nilsson & Neil, F.)

Thanx to @mapman  for triggering this...whatever....*G*

Happy Sumday, the total what you make of it. ;)

@nonoise as a Black American I take offense in your racist remarks and will be taking this up with Agon.

Also I deleted those posts no one else. I was out of line and apologized. So now you have stepped off with racist comments and there is no coming back from that.
 You are a child.

or revenge at losing so many arguments. Keep your Dingos away from him when he's like this folks, or he'll be up on charges again.

As for earlthepearl, how can we forget the noble fight he put up in defense of the defenseless, which got all his posts deleted last time around. Seems that revenge is the rage with these losers.
