My wife passed yesterday

I just wanted to share with my Audiogon brothers that my wife of 20 years passed on 10/25/14 from a heart attack. She loved good audio and good music and she supported me in my hobby at every turn. I haven't been able to listen to any music since her death, but I hope I will find comfort in it going forward. She never at any time criticized me for spending so much on audio and she always thought I should have what I liked. She was a rare individual and she will be missed by many people.

Chayro, my wife passed 7 years ago. Feel what you feel, do what you want , there is no blueprint for grief .
That said, often takes time,a week, a month , a year for the reality of death to sink in. Every situation is a law unto its self.

Chayro, sorry to hear of you wife's passing. My parents and my sister recently passed and I understand what Schubert says about there being no ready made template to follow helping us deal with the reality of life after those close to us die. Cherish your memories of her and I wish you strength and resilience in the days ahead.

I lost my wife about 12 years ago. When I think of her it still hurts, but there is much pleasure in this world and after your grief subsides, take advantage of the glories that await you. Do nothing financially, until you are ready to move on....it will get better. Good luck
