Comparison ARC Classic 30 and VT-50 I have owned a Classic 30 and it is a very good amplifier. Never had any problems, sounds great and unless you are into ear-bleed volumes, the power output is more than enough for all but the largest rooms. I do recommend using ARC LitzLine speake...
I need a source for threaded spikes Easy Brian, make them yourself. Buy some bolts that have the same thread as the female hole on the amp stand, make sure you get them a little longer than needed and they have a smooth (non threaded area) between the bolt head and the thread. Next,...

I promised myself I'd never do this I have an ARC SP14 also and really like it, but remember it is a hybrid and the only tube is in the phono stage. So when your line stage is activated, you are solid state all the way. Move the Logans out into the room as far as you can and away fr...
Sonata/Sonatina with 3-5 Watts??????? I am driving a pair of Sonatinas with a flea powered amp and it works great. The room is not huge and I listen semi nearfield, but there is plentty of volume and surprising good bass, while not super loud, very extended. |
