| Vintage Receiver: TANDBERG, MARANTZ, or…? i owned and foolishly sold the tandberg 1040--it's a great sounding, great looking piece which, subjectively, sounded "warmer" than its japanese peers. outstanding tuner section, if that matters to you. it should drive the vr1s easily. |
