What does one purchase after owning horns? I find damping characteristics audible with all kinds of music, with all kinds of speaker/amp combos. How and why it all works, I will leave that to others here, who go beyond having just ears, such as myself.
Are The Klipsch Heritage Series Really Worthy? JohnK. I want to first say that Khorns are EXCELLENT, but very limited because of the corner placement necessary, for me anyway. The build and makeup of the walls(home construction) can make or break some of their magic, keeping in mind that I lis...
Are The Klipsch Heritage Series Really Worthy? Dirtbag, too bad many people do not give The Lascala II a fair chance or take them seriously. At their price point I do not think there is a better speaker out there(IMO). Even though the bass horn is small(rolling off the last octave), there is a...
What does one purchase after owning horns? Jax2....Easy does it fella.....lol
For all you Clapton fans.... I refer everyone to the "Best" forum here on Audiogon to get other takes on Clapton. Marakanetz is saying he is not the best, and, that is his opinion. There are more virtuoso players, if this is what you listen for. I, however, listen to a lot of...
What does one purchase after owning horns? Being this is a horn thread of sorts, has anyone noticed in the virtual reality system section of Audiogon, the system/room of Cuong Pham. Talk about a horn......Wow....
What does one purchase after owning horns? Weseixas, you are quite right about damping factor. Early on, with a pair of Gale 401 speakers I had once owned, a Dyna 400 I had laying around made these speakers mushy, slow and ill defined. My Ampzilla really took control of the 2 eight inch dr...
For all you Clapton fans.... Marakanetz, I understand what you are saying and agree with you. Much of my blues listening does not contain super technical playing for me to enjoy it. I started the thread because I have met so many people who do not know this side of Clapton. F...
What does one purchase after owning horns? Audiokinesis. Excellent observation and well to the point. Thank you !
What does one purchase after owning horns? Thank you Audiopheil and Jax2. Support never hurts !
What does one purchase after owning horns? Weseixas, P.S. The BC/Uno combo bash is not me. Sorry. Once again you are showing weaknesses in your reading comprehension, and you are getting us all confused. I hope you are a happy person and enjoy life, because you tend to "attack" quite a lot...
What does one purchase after owning horns? Weseixas . I appreciate the response. It means I hit a nerve. Good. My comprehension is fine. Please read the original post again as to what is being said. I am a very bright 7th grader, but please let us know when you are on the show smarter than...
Mapleshade tweaks I wanted to clarify one thing. I believe in tweaking, but Mapleshade is not the only alternative.....
Mapleshade tweaks RCCC Can you show us an example of a thread here on Audiogon that does not contain an opinion by someone ? I will further state that a debate with you is not of interest to me, for I am on the same side of the fence as the friend you speak of. Why...
Mapleshade tweaks Pierre and Mapleshade recommends connecting powered subs using the speaker inputs instead of the rca inputs because of many hours of listening/testing. Their claims of greater coherency and blend with the main speakers seem correct. My ears concur... |
