The unfortunate truth is - everything matters. Especially when it comes to what’s powering your components. If you have invested considerable amounts of time, money and effort carefully building your system and room acoustics, not trying a high quality outlet for the cost involved is a sin. But it’s up to you. A $3 Home Depot outlet will provide adequate power to your system, no doubt about it.
