Bolt Beranek & Newman Ana 10" speakers

I am not familiar with this brand. I have the opportunity to purchase 10 of them. Can anyone advise me as to their reputation and/or value? I do know that they are EXTREMELY expensive, or that was what I was told anyway.

Don't know about the speakers, but BB&N is one of the most highly respected acoustical consulting firms in the world. I had the opportunity to do a college internship in their Cambridge, MA facility in the late 1970's. I did not know they were making products for the consumer market. MY guess would be that these were specialty built for a commercial or professional application, and no doubt engineered to the nth degree. How they would work in a real world hi-fi is the bigger question
