Chord TT2 - use Tidal or Qobuz?

Seems qobuz is a better choice with a chord dac.  Simply because mqa cant be fully unfolded by chord, only up to 96 for an mqa tune, when it should be 192 or higher.  So qobuz on chord offers non mqa hi rez tunes that would seem better suited for chord.

having said this, why would anyone use tidal thru a chord non mqa dac??

What streamer are you using? Also, are you using Roon?

Some streamers offer MQA support (e.g Lumin) and Roon can also Decode and Render MQA.

Qobuz is better choice for Chord as you point out about MQA.  The primary reason you would use Tidal is if you prefer Tidal's library and some of the other functionality.  That being said, if you are a Tidal fan, Chord might not be the right choice for you in terms of DAC.

I use both Tidal and Qobuz with my Chord TT2 . I have no issues at all with using Tidal. In fact , Tidal and Qobuz pretty much sound the same to me.
