Tim, the best way to get "plugged in" to the local audiophile group is to get your e-mail address onto one of the mailing lists that are used to send invitations for the local gatherings. Two of the members here have been keeping mailing lists: Alexc and Reubent. I believe Alex's mailing list is gradually becoming the "master," but, to be safe, you might want to send PMs to both Alex (Alexc) and Tom (Reubent) to ask that they put your name and e-mail address on their lists.

You'll also want to keep an eye on this thread to look for an announcement of the next gathering of the large local group. Those gatherings have been happening about two or three times per year. (The last one was held about two weeks ago.) There are smaller groups of us who also get together much more frequently for casual listening, but you will have a chance to meet 20 or more of the local guys if you can make it to one of the larger gatherings.

I know that everyone is busy around the holidays, but now that I am up and running again (feel free to check out my updated system and comment), I would love to join in on any listening sessions planned around the tri-state. Anything going on? Happy holidays and happy listening...

Morrow Audio in Independence, KY will have an audiophile get together on Sunday, December the 28th from 4:00 to ??. Everyone had a great time a few years ago and it is time for another one!

* Hear the latest series 3 cables as well as the Morrow Audio 300B1 Monoblocks in our new listening room. See many homemade room treatments, get ideas.

* Fine wine, beer, ect will be served as well as finger foods.

Hi club members I am in the planning stages for a get together in late Jan or early Feb. I may have a few surprises [ new toys ] in my system by then just a hint for you to think about. As always club members are welcome to email me to come by just about anytime for some music so if you find yourself with some free time email me . Happy holidays to all and your families we have so much to be thankful for and the great friends I have had the chance to get to know.
