Comparing Two Pairs of Mono's

The Odyssey Stratos Mono Extreme and the Van Alstine DVA 225 are both priced at $3,400 a pair.

Which pair would you choose, and why?

If they are not true mono block amplifiers then again your point is well founded.

Are Bryston monoblocks true/dedicated mono amps?

Yes both the 7B and 8B are true mono block amps. They have a very high slew rate, one of the highest in the industry.
