Has anyone tried the XM radio with Toslink?

Has anyone tried this XM Delphi unit, connecting the Toslink to a DAC? How does it sound? Please let me know.

It is still compressed audio and won't sound any better than MP3's. Even with a good DAC, it won't get close to a decent cd player.
