Jeff Rowland or Proceed amps, anyone feel like the bass is a little rolled off?

I'm running a pair of Mirage M1 speakers with a Proceed amp3 and a Proceed avp processor. Years ago I had the same mirage speakers with a Classe Ca200, with a Proceed avp. While the bass was a little rolled off back then it wasn't to bad as it still had a lot of slam. But now with the Proceed avp with the amp3 it seems like the problem is worse. Anyone else experience this. Years ago I also audition a Rowland amp and I felt it kind was the same, tons of detail but a little soft on the slam and bass.
 I wonder to if perhaps the Amp3' doesn't have quite enough power (250 watts) for the Mirages, and that's why the bass isn't what it used to be. The classe I had before was 350 watts. So I could get another proceed amp2 or amp3 and biamp it, or I could just sell it and get a bigger amplifier. As for the overall detail of the Proceed amp and Proceed Avp, its phenomenal, smooth and accurate. Its just that the lower end doesn't seen to have the slam I had with the Classe.
YOUR THOUGHTS AND EXPERIENCES ALWAYS APPRECIATED.    SHOULD I GET ANOTHER PROCEED OR JUST GET A BIGGER AMP----

You need a better amp, not necessarily a bigger amp. Either way, no 2 companies rate amp power the same way, so its hard to compare. A huge step up would be an Ayre V-5. If you feel that you need more power, you can just get a 2nd one and do a vertical biamp. The original M series are very laid back. So much so, that you don't want to do anything to enhance that aspect of the speaker.

If you're really concerned about power, they maybe a good used Theta Dreadnaught. Either series 1 or 2 is fine. Not the new class D version. You can use 4 channels and vertical biamp.
