For even better sound I recommend changing your coil to a 12 gauge copper wax foil coil from Jantzen (go into the inside of the coil and out the outside)....also bypass your cap with a small value teflon Vcap (make sure both caps are in the best sounding direction....usually outside foil to output). Binding posts should be WBT nextgen coppers (not silver). Of course , use great sounding wire and wire directly to the voice coil wires on the woofers....not to the back of the tab but to the place the voice coil wire is attached to the tab (much more real sounding). Use my Ground Enhancers and Music Purifiers ($125 the pair) on the speaker terminals to take it to another whole level, I would also felt the entire front of the speaker right up to the surrounds of the drivers....tweeter too. Do all the above and you will have people drooling.....he he. Just call it the SE model and charge a few more hundred dollars.....everyone will want it.

There is absolutely nothing special about these speakers. They use the same old technology. I did not say the were bad but hey are not in any way shape or form a breakthrough

@mijostyn , +1...any dude can tinker in his garage and think that the crap he churns out is worth upwards of 20k anymore.

The technology is very valid here.  Same as what Dunlavy was doing 30 years ago.  Time Aligned.....6 db per octave crossover with very little parts (so reasonably in phase).....and very good drivers.  I am sure they sound as described.  However, as stated above as well.  This is nothing new and you can build such a system for practically zero money......however, that does not mean that these speaker are not great.....and great for the money.  These are different things.  My own speakers are like the 100s he sells.  I use a woofer with no crossover and a set back time aligned modified tweeter on top with just a super cap and super resistor on it.  Very transparent.....$45 woofer and $25 tweeter.  Would blow your mind if you heard it.

BTW.....cryoing the xover parts and jacks would improve the sound even more.

In the last few days I had two guests over to listen to the NSMT System Two speakers. Both are seasoned audiophiles with vast experiences with top notch equipment and systems. Kirby, who also is a bass musician, was taken aback with the total performance of the System Two's overall performance and also felt that from the lower midrange to the deepest bass frequencies was the best he had heard in a system regarding pressurizing the listening space with accurate bass with correct timbres/tonality.

My other guest Nick, was very familiar with the sound of my system and was wondering if the System Two speakers could significantly out perform the NSMT 100 speakers. He was amazed at the level of improvement that the System Two's delivered over the Model 100 speakers. We both agreed that the Model 100s are still great speakers, but not approaching the higher level of performance delivered by the new NSMT design.
