When I brought it in to be fixed, I was told that I cant use it to listen to movies on my DVD because I didnt have a subwooferCan't listen to it?!?!? May not sound as good as if you had a sub but can't listen to it -- sounds like a bad sales pitch to sell you a sub.
Mid woofer problems
I have a pair of B and W CM1's, or I had a pair until the midwoofer blew on one. I listen through a Rotel 1552 amp at most at half volume usually less. I live in an apartment
so I cant play it very loud. When I brought it in to be fixed, I was told that I cant use it to listen to movies on my DVD because I didnt have a subwoofer. Is this true? The sound of the speaker through a DVD is much less volume then the CD player or the turntable so there I have to turn it past 1/2 to hear. Naturally its not THX,
